Lizards are one of the most common sights in Dubai homes, particularly during the warmer months when they gather around outdoor lighting in search of insects.

While geckos and other small lizards are largely harmless, many residents understandably prefer not to share their kitchen, living room or garden with them. A growing lizard population can also leave behind droppings, disturb sleep with their chirping calls, and hint at a wider insect problem attracting them indoors in the first place.
