NexGard Spectra is an advanced oral monthly treatment that protects dogs against a range of external and internal parasites. It works against multiple parasites, including fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal worms, for 30 days. It rapidly kills fleas and prevents flea infestations and flea allergy dermatitis. The oral chew destroys various tick species, including paralysis ticks, brown dog ticks, and bush ticks. NexGard Spectra is also indicated for the prevention and control of ear mites, demodectic mange (caused by Demodex spp.), sarcoptic mange (caused by Sarcoptes scabiei), and otodectic mange (caused by Otodectes cynotis). The monthly chewable prevents heartworm disease and protects dogs against intestinal worm infections caused by roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. Moreover, it also reduces the risk of flea tapeworm infestations. NexGard Spectra for Dogs is a monthly, flavoured chewable that is easy to administer with or without food. The treatment is safe for dogs and puppies of all breeds from 8 weeks of age and 2 kg or more.
